Travelling

5/2/2011

I think its about time to edit this section.

First trip in 2011..... KL from 2nd till the 5th of Feb

Honestly, I didnt take a lot of pics during this trip. Partly because I was tired carrying things, tired feet ( imagine just walked about 1 hour and I feel the pain!!! but I think that's partly because I am obese.. hmpphh) and yeah, its not much of  a travelling trip, but more of a shopping trip.
Booooo coz its CNY and most of the shops either closes on the day or open late, but on the other hand, its very festive especially around this area

I think the highlight of this trip especially for us women, was to find all the scarfs/shawls/kain at Masjid India..... Hahaha you would be surprised to know how much my mom and sister spent on buying these stuffs (well, including my stuffs as well.. hehehehe), but I dare say... its not cheap.. ughhh except all those shawls i bought (only RM10-20 each).. that's cheap!

While we were shopping, i was like.. hmmm, i should go and search a really good cloth for a formal function, so we went to jackal.. which is like 5 stores high (its a big textile store) and every costumer are given special attention of course, as seen in this picture, this guy was tending to us all (me, my sister and mum), and he was trying this kain on my sister, as it should be seen after its being tailored. Lol, he wanted to try the kain on me, but as per me being a person, dont like to be treated in such ways, i refused... in a good way.  So pretty right? We ended up getting 4 different pattern of the same colour for us, no1, 2, 3 and 6.

Thats the only expensive cloth i got to be honest. Lol, i wont say how much it is... but bear in mind, even BND$75 is expensive for such cloth, in my opinion... but thats not the real price. Hahaha but im happy with what we bought. As my mom said... its just once in a while..

Another highlight for me was going to SUBWAY. Lol... in New Zealand... i couldnt eat all the salami because it was not halal, hence the option for me was to eat tuna or vegeterian or seafood stuffs. So because Subway in Malaysia is halal, I decided to try the Italian DVT....??

And unfortunately, it does not exceed my expectations. I was disappointed! Tuna was much more.. tastier. I think I got accustomed to the taste..

Did I mention, I had feet pain walking along the streets. So, while my sister and brothers go around shops in LowYatt plaza, i went to Starbucks and had Java Chips Frappe... Hehehe blisss..

So, concluding this post... if we didnt really misplaced or lost some of our stuffs (like my brother bag and my sister handphone(which is lost), i think we would even enjoyed our trip more) Hahaha shit things happen while travelling, and I think that serves as a reminder to me and everyone else...
