Food

I seriously didnt think of making this page before.

Honestly saying, I love food! I really love food! I am picky but I love food. Food gives me a huge satisfaction, especially if its so nice AND if I like it, it might become my favorite.

Each restaurant I went to, usually I order almost the same thing everytime. Its quite hard for me to change my order, for some reason I do not know why. Someone said before that, I dont like changes. It might be true, but sometimes if there's a lot of list in the menu, I cant really choose what I want to eat, hence..... the chance of sticking onto the ones I have ordered always. :)

Anyway...

After going to this one particular favorite restaurant of mine, I just could not believe how kosong it is (well, i went at 10.30 am this morning but at other times, it seems that not a lot of people came but I think thats just me though). So I thought I should tell the whole world how good this restaurant is.

The restaurant I'm talking about is Koryo Restaurant. Located in Kiulap, sebaris with Chonghock/CA Mohammad. If you know where I am talking about. Anyway, I've become a Korean foodie eversince.... 3-4 years ago. Me and my friends occassionally come to this place. Even when I studied in NZ, if I ate Bibimbap there, I would always remember this restaurant. The first restaurant ever to introduce me to the varieties of Korean food. hmmmm.. nostalgic. Everytime I came back to Brunei for summer holidays, I would never miss a chance to come to this restaurant. See how much I love this place, though I think its underrated to the public.

And to be honest, of all the korean restaurant (ie Kimchi and Pines (which ive never tried before but heard about it from people), in MY OPINION, i think koryo is still the best (in terms of price AND in terms of how nice the food is). Yes, I've been to Kimchi once with a friend, hoping that this restaurant would give me the same satisfaction in terms of the food being served. Well in terms of interiordesign, of couse Kimchi restaurant would win, but i think in terms of food and price, Koryo restaurant still wins. As I said before, its just my opinion, but I think if people had tried both restaurant, if their satisfaction is based on food, i think they would choose koryo over kimchi. Hehehe I just think kimchi is a BIT overrated. Somehow I think they're are a bit more japanese than korean. Hmmmm I've tried their pajeon (seafood pancake) and its not even as good as the pajeon i tried at Koryo. You can imagine how disappointed I was. Yes, they offered a better variety of food compare to Koryo, but as a costumer, I dont think I will ever go to Kimchi if Koryo is still there, open to their loyal costumers.

But then that was two years ago (about Kimchi). I've never been to Kimchi in 2010/2011 so I dont know if the food has gotten better or anything, but after my first and last time dining in there, i think its better be safe than being sorry later. Hehehe i dont like to be disappointed when it comes to food.

Here are the pictures I took.... its just a small restaurant btw.

Next time I come here, ill take pictures of the food. :)
